S1-200 used to irrigate a field with a hose
The S1-200 pump system draws water from a pond and supplies it through a hose for manual crop irrigation.
Installed components: Pump (1), Controller (2), and PV Modules (3).
S1-200 used in drip irrigation
The S1-200 pump system draws water from a pond and supplies it to a drip irrigation system for crops.
Installed components: Pump (1), Controller (2), and PV Modules (3).
S1-200 or S1-700 used to irrigate a field with sprinklers
In this setup, the pump draws water from a pond and supplies it under pressure to irrigate a field with a sprinkler kit (4).
- Installed components for the S1-200 system: Pump (1), Controller (2), and PV Modules (3).
- For larger areas, the S1-700 system is recommended. This example includes: Pump (1), Controller grounded (2), PV Modules with DC Disconnect (3), and Dry Run Protection accessory (5).
S1-200 and S1-700 used to fill a tank
In this setup, the submersible pump system draws water from a well and pumps it up to a tank. Water is then supplied by gravity to irrigate a field and fill a trough for animals.
- Installed components for the S1-200 system: Pump (1), Controller (2), PV Modules (3), Dry Run Protection (4), and Tank Full Switch (5).
- For higher capacity installations, the S1-700 system is recommended. Installed components are: Pump (1), Grounded Controller (2), PV Modules installed with a DC Disconnect (3), Dry Run Protection (4), and Tank Full Switch (5).
S1-200 and S1-700 used to transfer water from a low source to a higher reservoir
In this setup, the S1 system pumps water from a low water source (such as a tank or a pond) to a higher reservoir, where it can later be used to irrigate a field by gravity.
Installed components for the S1-200 system: Pump (1) in this example installed horizontally , Controller (2), PV Modules (3), Dry Run Protection (4) installed vertically, and Tank Full Switch (5).
For higher capacity, the S1-700 system is recommended. Installed components are: Pump (1), Grounded Controller (2), PV Modules installed with a DC Disconnect (3), Dry Run Protection (4), and Tank Full Switch (5).
S1-200 and S1-700 used to pump water from a well to a tank located in a remote location
In this setup, the S1 system pumps water from a well to a tank with a float valve (6) that is located too far away to use the LORENTZ full tank switch accessory, and finally supplies water to a field and livestock by gravity.
Installed components for the S1-200 system: Pump (1), controller (2) and PV modules (3). In addition, a dry run protection (4) and a remote tank switch are installed on the discharge hose (5).
For higher capacity installations, the S1-700 system is recommended. Installed components are: Pump (1), Grounded Controller (2), PV Modules installed with a DC Disconnect (3), Dry Run Protection (4), and Remote Tank Switch installed on the discharge pipe (5).
The float valve (6) is not included in the LORENTZ accessory portfolio.
