The S1-200 and S1-700 controllers can be mounted to a wall or any other flat surface using suitable screws.
It is important to select screws that match the diameter of these holes and provide sufficient length to penetrate the wall or mounting structure securely. (Screw material will depend on the type of wall).
Mounting the S1-200 Controller
- The S1-200 has two mounting holes with a diameter of Ø 4.0 mm [5/32"] .
- Screws should be at least 20 mm [3/4"] longer than the controller housing thickness to ensure proper anchoring.
- Recommended screw: M3.5 x 40 mm [#6 x 1-1/2”].
Note: The screws included with the controller are only suitable for installation on the underside of a PV module, not for wall mounting. For installation on the underside of the solar module, see the following link:

Mounting the S1-700 Controller
- The S1-700 has two mounting holes with a diameter of Ø 6.4mm [1/4"].
- The screw length must allow at least 35 mm [1-3/8"] to pass through the controller housing, plus additional depth for secure anchoring in the wall.
- Recommended screw: M5 x 50 mm [#10 x 2"].
