The project implements a fully solar-powered, level-controlled infiltration system in a peat meadow area located approximately 1.5 km from the nearest road. The system serves 8 hectares and infiltrates an average of 5 mm of water per day through a newly installed drainage network, actively raising the groundwater level to reduce land subsidence and CO₂ emissions from peat oxidation.
Operating completely off-grid, the pump automatically adjusts its capacity based on real-time water demand, guided by sensors that precisely maintain the desired water level.
The project provides a sustainable, autonomous solution for climate-adaptive water management in vulnerable peat landscapes.
