Before switching on the system, make sure that the physical installation has been completed and that all electrical connections are properly secured.

Both the S1-200 and S1-700 systems have an ON/OFF switch located on the controller. The LED on the controller shows the system status:

• Flashing green = Standby mode (pump is OFF)
• Solid green = Pump is ON and operating

If you see different LED combinations, please refer to the LED sequence guide:

When PV power is available, the S1-200 controller will automatically start up — even if the ON/OFF switch is in position "0" (OFF). You will see a flashing green LED, indicating that the controller is in standby mode.

To turn on the S1-200 system:

1. In case a PV Disconnect has been installed (optional), turn it ON first.
2. Switch the controller to position "1" (ON).
   The LED will turn solid green, indicating the pump is running.

The S1-700 must always be installed with a PV Disconnect.

To turn on the S1-700 system:

1. Turn ON the PV Disconnect first.
   The controller will power up (position "0" - OFF), and the LED will show flashing green (standby).
2. Then, switch the controller switch to position "1" (ON).
   The LED will turn solid green, and the pump will start operating.
