The S-Connect app shows motor cable error

If your S-Connect app displays a motor cable error, there are a few simple checks you can perform to identify and resolve the issue.

WARNING - Disconnect power from the controller before performing any installation, inspection, maintenance or cleaning activities on the motor or pump.

Motor cable problem 1, 2 or 3

  • The motor cable might be damaged.
  • Check if the motor cable shows any visible signs of damage or a burning smell.
  • If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced. Please contact your distributor.
  • The plug connections might be dirty or wet.
  • Make sure there is no dirt or water inside any plug, including extension cables. Refer to the manuals for further guidance:
    • S1-200 Motor Extension Cable
    • S1-700 Motor Extension Cable
  • If the plugs were dirty or wet, wait for 1 minute, then reconnect the photovoltaic power and turn the controller back on. If the issue persists, contact your distributor.
