What you will do in the role
- Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
- Account reconciliation and maintenance
- Processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
- Responsibility for VAT returns and statistical reports
- Preparation and support during tax audits
- Contact person for tax consultants, auditors, and authorities
- Optimization and further development of accounting processes
- Participation in budget planning and control as well as liquidity management
Your profile
- Completed advanced training as a certified accountant (IHK) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
- Experience with SAP Business One is desirable
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Sound knowledge of commercial and tax law (HGB) is an advantage
