This project was funded by the MAGA (Ministry of Agriculture) with the purpose promoting solar water pumping as part of a rural development program. The small scale production of roses in greenhouses requires water throughout the year. The solar pumping system now provides water for irrigation, lifting the water from a stream 90m up the hill from where it is distributed by gravity.
