The Town of Apacheta is located in the south west of Lake Titicaca with about 140 inhabitants, located at 3850 meters above sea level. Electricity and water supply are a big challenge in this place. Families have to cover long distances several times a day to obtain water from wells. LORENTZ ps2-1800 pump has been installed to be able to pump water up to 50 meters high with a distance of 750m. The pumping system delivers a total of more than 24m3 of water per day to the population of Apacheta. LORENTZ solar systems provide drinking water reliably and at very low cost to residents. As children and their families do not have to fetch water every day, their level of health and sanitation can be significantly improved. TINTA technology is an engineering and consulting company reported on the problematic situation of Apacheta to the government officials and convinced them that LORENTZ solar water pumps are the right solution. Local authorities approved the concept of installing a solar water pumping solution with accessories and/or sensors for better monitoring or control as a project, by using the pumpscanner app the pump is quickly configured and the parameters are set and changed if necessary. necessary. The installation began in December 2018 and was completed in September 2019.
