The water is used in different ways at Club Hornet. Drinking water for people, irrigation of fruit trees, filling a swimming pool every now and then. The solar pump was added to an existing system with a grid connected submersible pump in a well. Now the grid connected pump serves as a backup and is not used anymore.
The water is stored in an elevated tank system consisting of 5 tanks al together, from where it is distributed by gravity.
