Water supply for 52 families. Caption from spring. System with one time repumping. First stage 177m static head, second stage 231m static head. PV arrays and controllers for both systems are located at re-pumping site.
System1 has a sinusoidal Line Filter installed with capacity of 500V and 17A. Cable length is 530m with 2/0 gauge aluminium cable, 3 line and 1 ground. Because of the long run for the well probe sensor an additional galvanic isolation was installed to protect the controller from lightning induced surges. The circuit is powered by an additional solar panel 50Wp. The relay is a universal timer relay and the cycle time is set to 5sec. because in low light situations at night the relay start hunting. Tank full control is realized with a float switch due to vicinity of the controller to the repumping tank.
System2 being located close to the re-pumping tank is wired directly to the controller with awg10 cable. The automatic shut off for tank full is realized with a pressure switch of 400psi working pressure. The assembly consists of an assembly that absorbs shocks and avoid over shooting of the pressure switch. Due to a check valve located around 50m above the pump hysteresis is no problem. To avoid pressure overshoot the system has a 3inch pipe installed parallel to the float valve of the distribution tank in parallel to the water pipe with an air reservoir that allow to absorb the time delay until pump stands still.
