This solar pumping system was designed for direct drip irrigation of 3-4ha of agave production. To maintain a constant pressure range on the drip irrigation hoses an electronic pressure sensor is used. This allows the application of fertilizers with a venturi suction device to control growth-product application to each plant directly and precisely. The system works as expected to the full satisfaction of the farmer.
