The village of Panimaché does not have electricity and the village school with attached school kitchen thus no running water. WATER FOR PEOPLE a NGO realized a reconstruction on the school with new sanitary utilities and a solar pumping system with a well dedicated only for that purpose. Thanks to the Lorentz solar pumping system now installed the school has running water fed from a gravity tank, which is kept full by the solar pump. The system runs automatically with a water level switch installed in the tank. This means a huge sanitary improvement over the latrines with no water available at site to wash hands. Now several taps provide water for personal hygiene and the kitchen.
