Drinking Water system for village San Esteban Los Luchadores with 37 families. Project execution by ADICAY. Tank capacity of pumping tank is 23m3. Solar array located up on the hill at distribution tank because of shading at pumping station. Sizing of pump has been small because of limited budget, not considering future population growth and rising water demand. Pump control with pressure switch.
Sizing of expansion vessel is at lower limit because of reaction time delay of controller of about 5 seconds from trigger signal to pump shut off. Pressure at switch static 52 psi, dynamic 53 psi, shut off trigger signa 80 psi, pump turn on 56 psi. Overshoot to 100-120 psi.
