Irrigation system by gravity. Water is pumped in a pond and distributed by gravity. Well capacity is 50gpm at 130 feet depth. Static level in well is 20 feet. Pump is operated in hybrid mode as daily flow is not enough to irrigate the farm. Solar pumping system is supplement to water from a small river in dry season. Eucalyptus tree to the south of the solar array will cause shade over the panels during december but could not be avoided due to area restrictions of rented farm land.
