The pumps in the LORENTZ S1 range are designed for use with clean water only.
If your pump is used under normal conditions, cleaning is typically not required.
For more information about water quality requirements, please refer to the following page:
Cleaning the Pump End – S1-200 (helical rotor pump)
The S1-200 uses a helical rotor pump, which is able to handle small amounts of dirt or sand. If used in clean water conditions, it normally does not require cleaning. However, if the pump performance decreases, it may help to clean the pump end. The process is easy to do with a few common tools:
Required tools
- Wrench SW13
- Screwdriver (optional)
How to clean the pump end
Diassemble the pump end body from the motor by removing the 4 nuts
Detach the pump end
Clean the rotor from dirt if needed
Clean the pump end from dirt if needed, we recommend that you hold the pump end under running water and rinse it
After you finished cleaning the pump end, attach it again to the motor.
You will need to apply a torque of 7 Nm [5.2 lbf-ft].
You can see the previous steps in the following video:
Cleaning the Pump End – S1-700 (centrifugal pump)
The S1-700 uses a centrifugal pump (models CST-2-10 and CST-4-6), which is not intended to be disassembled or cleaned by the user.
