LORENTZ S1 pumps are designed for easy installation in wells. Follow the steps below to ensure a safe and proper setup for both S1-200 and S1-700 systems:
Check the the controller is turned off and check all cables
Make sure the controller is switched off before handling the pump. Verify that the motor cable, accessories, and PV connections are correctly and securely connected.
Connect the discharge pipe or hose
For the S1-200: Ensure the hose is tightly secured with a clamp
For the S1-700: Use a properly sized adapter according to the pump model (thread type and size) and the pipe is connected properly.
Attach a safety rope to the pump
Always secure a strong rope to the designated lifting point on the pump. This ensures safe lowering, and future retrieval if needed.
Slowly lower the pump into the well
Lower the pump carefully and vertically into the well to avoid damaging the cable, pipe, or pump. Do not drop the pump.
Secure the safety rope
Fix the other end of the rope to a strong and stable structure near the well (such as a pole or support frame).
