LORENTZ uses a structured pump type key to clearly identify the main characteristics of the pump end used in S1 pumping systems.
By reading the pump designation, it is possible to determine key information such as the pump technology, size, temperature class, number of stages, and outlet connection type.
The S1 product range includes two different pump technologies, each with its own type key structure:
- Helical rotor pumps (HRE) used in S1-200 systems
- Centrifugal pumps (CST) used in S1-700 systems
Understanding the type key helps installers, system designers and service personnel to correctly identify the pump configuration and ensure proper application.
Helical rotor pump end naming (S1-200)
Helical rotor pumps are positive displacement pumps designed for higher heads and lower flow rates. They are used in LORENTZ S1-200 systems.
